This project is a way to reassert the couple’s personal happiness, evolution in life and music and convey their shining, energetic message of love and positivity at both personal and global levels.
The album features seven re-recorded and rewritten tunes and seven original tracks. AJ’s new musical journey ventures into various sweet and mellow ballads, ‘Work Out It Out,’ ‘The Good Life,’ ‘I’ve Got 2 Fly,’ ‘San Diego’ and ‘Love or Leave Me.’ All which are highlighted by Andrea’s graceful voice and James’ fine guitar and expressive background voice. The CD is also enriched with a warm Latin touch, the bossa nova ballad ‘The Silent Voice’ and the exquisite ‘Para Ti Y Para Mi,’ remembering the sunny atmosphere of ‘Buena Vista Social Club.’ The Rohlher also offer good vibes and great grooves with mid and uptempo tracks such as ‘Evolution’ and the dynamic ‘AndJam’ with an amazing horn section with around 20 musicians performing on this track. The catchy gospel ‘Lord, Have Mercy’ and the beautiful ‘The Spirit’ with fantastic solos on both saxophone, performed by Sylvester Scott and flute, performed by Andrea Rohlehr. |

In addition to these great 14 tracks, ‘Evolution’ includes a video of ‘I’ve Got Fly,’ a live performance with a great jam session concluding this musical celebration.
If personal evolution is about being the best person you can be, finding a positive balance within your inner circle and the outside world as well as being aware of values such as love, patience, understanding and mercy, then Andrea and James Rohlher have indeed achieved their ‘Evolution.’
This CD is a beautiful journey packed up with rich vocals, lyrics, musical arrangements and feeling. It is the absolute anthem to ‘The Good Life.’- By Akbar Nour |

Review Policy - Smooth Jazz Now.com believes money
does not buy a positive review. The music world is filled
with magazines and websites that will play you, or positively review you if you buy advertising. That's
not what we are about. It's a little thing called credibility.
If you want to advertise with us, we welcome you and will
do our very best to make sure anyone who visits this site
will know your name, but we won't guarantee you a positive
review. If you work with a magazine that gives you these
guarantees remember it's your reputation that's on the
line, they've already sold theirs. - John Beaudin, President,
