"The inspiration of this album came while traveling home from Barcelona, Spain. As I sipped my complimentary beverage with 200 other passengers on our luxury airliner, perusing a book about Leonardo da Vinci, it suddenly occurred to me that I was sitting on the realization of his sketched dream of a flying machine," say Bestor who celebrates the genius of artists, inventors, explorers and writers on this CD. Though he doesn't sound like Elton John, I found myself in the same place that the early Elton classics took me. This is piano music with a lot of emotional strength. It's also hard to categorize since Bestor obviously like variety. Expect innovative Pop ditties in Smooth Jazz/New Age form. --by John Beaudin
