New Smooth Jazz Program On Toronto's Urban FLOW 93.5 FM
March 5, 2003 - FLOW 93.5 FM will launch a new show, Jazz Flavours, this Sunday, March 9th from noon to 3 pm. Featuring the best in contemporary jazz, the show will be hosted by Kevin 'Koolin' Fox, FLOW 93.5 Program Director.

Fox aims to bring Smooth Jazz to the airwaves. "At FLOW 93.5, we have an understanding of what the audience wants to hear. Smooth Jazz is a segment of the genre that's been left out of the Toronto radio landscape, and we are going to provide it," says Koolin. "It's a nice addition what FLOW 93.5 is already offering musically. I'm sure that in no time at all, people will have made Jazz Flavours part of their Sunday afternoons." The show will feature such artists as Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Norman Brown and St. Germain.

"Jazz was one of the original forms of Urban music so it makes sense for FLOW 93.5, Toronto's Urban Radio Station, to be playing it," says Wayne Williams, FLOW 93.5 Assistant Program Director / Music Director. "When it comes to Urban Radio in Toronto, FLOW 93.5 is the source."
