Confirmed To Perform At Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards
November
21, 2007 - Each year Smooth Jazz fans from around the
world congregate to Mississauga, Ontario for the biggest
event for the genre - The Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards.
Not only is it the only Awards show of its kind on the
planet and the event is always a guaranteed Smooth Jazz
extravaganza. Confirmed for this year are Warren
Hill and vocalist/pianist Carol Welsman,
newcomer Allistair Elliott, and guitarists Dave
Sereny and Les Sabler. Alfie Zappacosta,
host Alexander Zonjic and Peter White
will also perform. The Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards
have just announced today that Janita will also
be on the bill. The singer's career started when she
was only 13 in her native Finland. At only 15 she was
named "Most sensual Woman in Finland" and
she had two Finnish Grammies by 17. Her latest album
"Seasons of Life" got her a nomination as
"International Vocalist of the Year" at the
