Dulfer
was born September 19th, 1969 in Amsterdam The Netherlands.
She started playing the saxophone at the age of six
and by twelve she performed at the famous North Sea
Jazz Festival with Rosa King. In 1987 she opened up
for Madonna at the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam.
Her smash debut album "Saxuality"was released
in may 1990 and inturn grabed her a Grammy nomination
for Best Instumental Pop Recording. The album went
on to sell over a million copies.

She started performing with the band Matt Bianco which
she eventaully left two years later to pursue a solo
career. Her debut album "Time & Tide"
sold over a million copies. The album " London
Warsaw New York" sold 500,000 copies in the first
two weeks of release and included a Top 30 hit "Cruising
for Bruising."
