Pat
Metheny
was born in Kansas City on August 12th , 1954.
In 1974 the Jazz scene had its first taste of
Pat's playing . His first album," Bright
Size Life" was released in 1975 where he
discovered a new sound for jazz guitar. Still
in his teens, he became the youngest music educator
at both the University of Miami and Berklee College
of Music.

Harp, born August 17th, 1961. The youngest of eight
children started playing the piano and saxophone
at an early age. He signed a deal with Manhattan/Blue
Note in 1992 and recorded his self titled dedut
album. |

Cole, born August 17th in Chicago Illinois studied
music at Northwestern University. Recorded his first
solo album in 1998 " Stay Awhile".This
album turned out to be a Smooth Jazz success with
two NAC #1 hits "When I think of you"
and "Say it Again" as well as a #5 hit
" Where the Night Begins". |

Benoit, born August 18th, 1953.Winner of the 4th
Annual National Smooth Jazz Awards Keyboardist of
the Year, helped create the current contemporary
jazz sound. He has twenty- two albums to his credit,
his latest "Fuzzy Logic". |

Albright, born August 30th, 1957.A native of California,
he grew up in Los Angeles. He attended the University
of Redlands where he minored in music. After college
he started working in the studio with Anita Baker
and Olivia Newton-John and toured with Jeff Lorber,
Quincy Jones and Phil Collins. He has sold over
1,000,000 albums in the U.S. alone. |
