Signs with Blue Note August
12, 2003 - Van Morrison is going Jazz - well sort of, the Irish
singing legend has just signed a worldwide deal with Blue Note
Records. Morrison's first release on the label will be "What's
Wrong With This Picture" in stores October 21st. The singer
says it will have a combo plate of influences including Jazz
and Blues leanings. Morrison fans may remember his stint with
another Jazz label in 1996 when the singer recorded two albums
for Verve.
