Toronto's Sax in the City, Putting the "Fun" in Fundraising
April 27, 2005 - On Thursday, May 19th, Toronto's young professionals and jazz enthusiasts will gather at the Design Exchange for an evening of food, drink and an introduction to "all that Jazz". All proceeds raised will go to United Way of Greater Toronto.
Sax and the City will feature a talent-heavy line up of jazz artists, exposing 23-35 year olds to Toronto's vibrant jazz scene. The evening will be hosted by one of Canada's leading jazz authorities, Bill King. Featured artists of the evening include Heather Bambrick, Emily-Claire Barlow and Eliana Ceuvas, each vocalist accompanied by a full six piece band. DJ to follow performances.

The evening is hosted by the GenNext cabinet of the United Way. GenNext is committed to actively encouraging Torontonians between the ages of 23-35 to become involved in charitable activities and to support United Way. - by Liz Rivard

Smooth Jazz for the United Way
April 3, 2005 - Smooth Jazz lovers in Toronto will be happy to hear about a great benefit for the United Way on April 22. Molly Johnson (accompanied by Andrew Craig), Liberty Silver, Eddie Bullen and Joe Sealy will perform at George Weston Recital Hall, Toronto Centre for the Arts.
