Marcus Johnson Joins Washington's Smooth Jazz 105.9 Morning Show
March 15, 2005 - Keyboardist and Washington D.C. area native Marcus Johnson has joined Smooth Jazz 105.9 (WJZW/Washington, D.C.) as the station's new morning drive co-host. Johnson will team up with current morning host Jacqui Allen weekdays from 5 AM to 8:30 AM. "Expanding my career with this new role is a blessing, and working with Smooth Jazz 105.9 is a natural fit," says Johnson. "There is a great deal of synergy in both the music I make and the music they play as well as between my fan base and their listening audience."
