Johnson Joins Washington's Smooth Jazz 105.9 Morning Show March
15, 2005 - Keyboardist and Washington D.C. area native Marcus
Johnson has joined Smooth Jazz 105.9
(WJZW/Washington, D.C.) as the station's new morning drive co-host. Johnson will
team up with current morning host Jacqui Allen weekdays from 5 AM to 8:30 AM.
"Expanding my career with this new role is a blessing, and working with Smooth
Jazz 105.9 is a natural fit," says Johnson. "There is a great deal of
synergy in both the music I make and the music they play as well as between my
fan base and their listening audience." Johnson is President of the Three
Keys Entertainment record label, and his single "18th & M" (named
after the intersection in D.C.) off of his latest album "Just Doing What
I Do" received airplay on several Smooth Jazz stations across the U.S., including
WJZW. by
