Kim Waters' Keeping Busy

October 14, 2003 - Smooth Jazz Now's "Artist of the Month" Kim Waters has a busy future. The saxophonist says, "I'm really extending myself as a Producer." Waters has just finished working with saxophonist Pamela Williams and has plans to work with vocalist Maysa Leak. Waters says he's always had a long term goal for his career that would come after he's tired of being an artist and Producer, "When I get tired of doing that I'll probably be one of those A&R guys at one of those big labels. "The sax man says, "I've been offered several positions but I'm not ready to stop playing yet and I'm working on a new album right now." The new disc will be out in 2004.
