Fleetwood Mac's Boy's Club
May 11, 2003 - Stevie Nicks says she misses Christine McVie in Fleetwood Mac, and calls the latest line up "a boy's club." McVie quit the band at the end of their comeback "The Dance" tour in 1998. Though the successful combination that made the groundbreaking "Rumours" album in 1977 is still intact with the exception of McVie Nick feels a bit different being the only lady in the band. The latest Fleetwood Mac album "Say You Will" does feature Christine McVie but only as a side musician. The band had considered having her contribute songs but skip the tour, but they decided against that. Stevie Nicks says for years they thought they couldn't do another album, but then they decided its ok because it's not like Fleetwood Mac hasn't made changes before.
