Dionne Warwick is currently recording an album of duets which will feature guests Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, George Benson, and Patti LaBelle. The album should be in stores later this year and will be called "My Friends and Me". - by Cheryl Philips



Cole, Houston and Warwick Set To Tour Together

May 21, 2004 - Get ready for a 1-2-3 Diva punch this summer. Natalie Cole has told Access Hollywood that she'll share the stage with Whitney Houston and Dionne Warwick for a summer tour. Cole and Houston are good friends and both have had substance abuse problems, Cole has been clean for years. As for Houston, Cole says she's "doing really great,'' and has a "great desire to really get healthy and get well." Houston recently checked herself into a drug rehabilitation centre and is reportedly clean and sober. The tour will start in Germany in July.



Dionne Warwick Plays Santa Claus
December 23, 2003 - Dionne Warwick has the Christmas spirit and she's giving back. The singer visited her old school last Thursday and brought presents for everybody. The school, "Dionne Warwick Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship" named in her honor is in East Orange, New Jersey. Warwick had gifts for all 561 students and 77 staff members and she wrapped every present herself. Warwick now lives in Brazil.




Dionne Warwick - I Was Framed!
Feb 26, 2003 - Dionne Warwick says she was framed! Warwick says the pot found in her luggage at the Miami airport last year was planted adding she doesn't take drugs. Airport officials found some joints in her lipstick container when her bags were checked. Warwick thinks another passenger pulled a quick switch saying, "Apparently, somebody that didn't want to get caught thought it would be better off in somebody else's bag." Charges against Warwick were dropped after she agreed to a plea bargain.
