Dean Martin Enters Billboard Top 200 at # 39 August

Martins easygoing charm is still cool!
The singers Forever Cool CD
featuring duets with Chris Botti, Joss Stone,
Robbie Williams, Martina McBride and Kevin Spacey
entered the Billboard top 200 album chart at #
39. The Capital/EMI album released on August 14
shows off Martins inter-generational popularity
with his new revamped website receiving 154,500
hits last week alone. "No matter what age
you are at, you kind of want to be cool, and there
was nobody cooler," said Dean Martin's Forever
Cool collaborator Kevin Spacey. Martin actually
knocked the Beatles A Hard Days Nightout
of the #1 chart position with "Everybody
Loves Somebody" in 1964. Young people
have realized how cool he is and how funny he
is ... and he could sing, says daughter
Gail Martin, "It gives me a warm glow to
know that everybody -- all ages, all generations
-- just seem to adore him and want more of him.
That's exciting, and it doesn't surprise me."
