18, 2007 - Canadian Smooth Jazz guitarist
David Sereny
finally released his long-awaited debut album
"Take this Ride" on September 15,
2007. The Toronto-based artist is not a newcomer
in the jazz world, as he has already been
extensively touring and performing with the
best musicians in this musical genre. On his
debut album, Sereny is well surrounded with
Smooth Jazz giants such as the bassist Wayman
Tisdale, incredible pianist Bob
James, the famous acid jazz Brand New
Heavies singer N'Dea Davenport, sax player
Warren Hill
and the bassist Nathan Watts best known for
his work with the legendary Stevie
Wonder. The CD entails original compositions
and covers such as the rendition of Rick Jame's
funky tune "Give It To Me Baby".
Sereny has already established his musical
credentials in Canada, as he was a multiple
nominee at the 2006 Canadian
Smooth Jazz Awards co-founded by the dynamic
president of our web site, John
Beaudin and Mary Kirk of the Wave in Hamilton/Toronto..
This George
Benson-influenced artist displays his
guitar's mastery with "Take this Ride".
So do not hesitate to take this great musical
ride and obviously you will enjoy it with
a lot of musical serenity. Do not also hesitate
to rush to your closest jazz venue, as David
Sereny plans to go on tour in the coming months.
