Jazz and Cool Cars June
8, 2005 - Everyone knows cool cars and smooth jazz go hand in hand. At least they
will every Thursday from June 30th - August 4th, at the Walter Chrysler Museum
in Auburn Hills, Michigan during the 2005 Cool Cars and Smooth Jazz Concert Series.
Attendees will be allowed to take a spin in a 2005 Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge vehicle
before each evening show and the new Dodge Charger will also be spotlighted in
a special exhibition showcasing eight decades of Dodge vehicles. The free series
will feature Smooth Jazz stars Spryo Gyra,
Chuck Mangione, Marion
Meadows, Paul Taylor, Alexander
Zonjic, Ken Navarro, and Michael Brock

Mangione Set to Play Benefit March
29, 2004 - Chuck Mangione is giving back. The Jazz legend will headline a special
benefit for Project Kids at Lincoln' Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York City
on Saturday, April 10, 2004. Project Kids helps impoverished children with heart
disease receive life saving surgery and improved medical treatment. The organization
has helped children from around the world. Mangione whose best known for his 1977
Smooth Jazz hit "Feels so Good" will perform with 30-piece orchestra.
The benefit is the third sponsored by The Whiteweld Foundation who are also known
for looking out for kids welfare worldwide. Project Kids also plans to give back
in their own way by honoring the people who have helped out in the past. Honorees
include Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton also Tom Brokaw, Anne Thompson and Clare
Duffy of NBC Nightly News team and Jacqueline Gavagan. You can pick up tickets
