. Chaka’s son was tried and acquitted in 2006. During the trial, Khan's son admitted to shooting the victim (17-year-old Christopher Bailey) in the face with an M-16 assault rifle on Sept. 24, 2004 but later said it was an accident. The teen was an aspiring rap artist and had been staying with Khan and her family to record with Holland. Glen Newton the father of the victim said Khan was a witness to the shooting and she lied at the trial and other witnesses did as well. – by Kari Graham
