Koz
& Lington Supporting Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation July
27, 2005 - It seems only fitting that two jazz greats, Dave
Koz and Michael Lington, who make
music come alive would be supporting "The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation",
in its drive to "Keep Music Alive in the Schools." The foundation supports
music education through the donation and repair of musical instruments to under-served
schools, community music programs and individual students throughout the U.S.
On
August 21, at the legendary Hollywood Bowl Koz and Lington will share the stage
with a line up of music greats including Bela
Fleck,
Lee Ritenour, Jeffrey
Osborne and The Stanley Clarke Trio.
If you would like to witness this great line up live, check out Ebay's auction
for a trip to the event. The package includes 2 roundtrip airfares (within the
continental U.S.), 3 nights at the Beverly Hilton, 2 VIP tickets to the JVC Jazz
Festival, 2 tickets and 2 after party tickets to attend the 2006 Grammy Awards,
an autographed copy of Koz's Saxophonic and Lington's Stay With Me, an autographed
tour shirt, a three piece set of luggage, dinner for two at Vivoli Trattoria in
Hollywood, and a VIP meet and greet with Dave Koz and Michael Lington, after the
show.
