What’s Going On With Janet Jackson? Singer Cancels Shows Due to Mystery Illness
 Oct. 8, 2008 – Janet Jackson has postponed three more shows due to illness. What that illness is, no one knows. That’s five shows now that the singer has had to cancel. A publicist from the Jackson camp released a statement late this past Saturday (Oct. 4th) to postpone that nights show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Her people said that Jackson had actually arrived in Greensboro, ready to perform but doctors advised her not too. This is the first concert tour in seven years for the performer who was hospitalized last Monday night (Oct 29th) in Montreal shortly after she arrived for the show. She then canceled shows in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday. Jackson is asking fans to hold on to their tickets and promises to reschedule the gigs as soon as they can work out a schedule. The biggest rumor on the internet is that the singer is suffering from vertigo, but again it’s just a rumor. Jackson is now at home resting. We wish her a quick recovery. – by Kari Graham

June 29, 2008 – Janet Jackson wants to be a fashion designer. The famous "wardrobe malfunction" singer might be forgetting that we haven’t forgotten Super Bowl 38 in 2004. That career ending performance took the singer from the “A” list in music, now can you imagine what it will do to her chances at fashion? Interestingly, Miz Jackson says she’ll start with lingerie. Jackson confirmed her new venture during Milan Fashion Week in Italy last weekend. All the singer would say is, “I’m working on it.” Sources say the fashion line will be out before the end of the year. – By John Beaudin

Jackson, 42 used to kiss the TV when Manilow was on it and would pretend they were a couple. Ok, they’ll never get married but the “Nasty” singer says she’s definitely a ``Fanilow,`` a term given to devout Manilow fans.
Jackson is now living with the reverse of Manilow producer Jermaine Dupri. She says, ‘I don't know if we are going to get married. We're good where we are right now.' - by Kari Graham
