Trouble
For The Doors and Stewart Copeland
March
13, 2003 - Drummer Stewart Copeland seems to have more than the Police
on his mind these days. Copeland has filed a one million dollar lawsuit
against Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger.
Copeland claims Manzarek and Krieger breached an oral contract to use
him for the band's upcoming tour and album. Copeland's suit says Manzarek
and Krieger hired a replacement drummer(Ty Dennis). Pictures of The
Doors 21st Century on The Doors official web site no longer show Copeland.

March 12, 2003 - After being inducted in the Rock'n roll Hall Of Fame
on Monday night Police fans may be hungry for a full reunion from the
band but so far nothing's afoot. One Sting insider said "the chances
are not good in the near future but never say never." Also inducted
this year were The Clash, Elvis Costello and the Attractions, AC-DC,
the Righteous Brothers, Floyd Crammer, Motown drummer Benny Benjamin
and saxophonist Steve Douglas. - Shannon
